Famille Descombe Description
Famille Descombe has tended vineyards in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières for five generations. Located just south of Brouilly, their vineyards in Beaujolais-Villages are cultivated in granitic soils, resulting in a more weighty style of Gamay.

The 2022 Beaujolais-Villages Granite is a little tight on the nose at first, opening with raspberry and strawberry scents. The palate is fleshy with decent depth, well-balanced with welcome pepperiness towards the finish. This is a very well made Beaujolais-Villages.
