Luis Rodriguez Description
From a blend of mostly Treixadura with Lado, Albariño, and Torrontes, vine age 10-25 years old, planted on steep granite hillsides in the town of Arnoia. Os Pasas branco was fermented with native yeasts in steel vat and raised in vat on the lees for 10-12 months.
The salty influence of the Atlantic and the stoniness of granite come together with the lemon, apple and pear notes typical of Treixadura.

The 2021 Viña de Martín Os Pasás has the textbook nose of river stones and moss that I associate with Ribeiro, a mineral and austere white produced with Treixadura, Albariño, Lado and Torrontés from his younger vines. From a cool year, it feels quite austere, sharp and serious. 50 Magnums produced.
