Luigino Balozio Description
Luigino is a character with a very high profile, humble but highly prepared in the management of vineyards as well as being a top oenologist. Some years ago he decided to make a change in the management of some vineyards. Together with his friend Christian Patat, they decided to isolate some of these plots and to dedicate to them a very accurate pruning management with the support of Zeno Gregorat. A Chardonnay , small vineyards of Friulano and a magnificent plot of Sauvignon, located in the municipalities of Corno di Rosazzo (Cuar) and Buttrio (Buri) become the object of the trio's attention. A project of Friulano pride.

Vinous: 90 Points
There's an exoticism to the 2021 Friulano Cuar that I find wildly attractive, mixing exotic spices and tropical florals with a dusting of confectioners' sugar. It's soft and round on the palate with vividly ripe orchard fruits and tropical melon. This finishes with a mineral staining yet is also sweetly spiced, keeping the mouth watering through residual acidity.
