Luigino Balozio Description
Luigino is a character with a very high profile, humble but highly prepared in the management of vineyards as well as being a top oenologist. Some years ago he decided to make a change in the management of some vineyards. Together with his friend Christian Patat, they decided to isolate some of these plots and to dedicate to them a very accurate pruning management with the support of Zeno Gregorat. A Chardonnay , small vineyards of Friulano and a magnificent plot of Sauvignon, located in the municipalities of Corno di Rosazzo (Cuar) and Buttrio (Buri) become the object of the trio's attention. A project of Friulano pride.
This Chardonnay is from a magical site in Buttrio; it gives this full-bodied wine’s bouquet a bright perfume, and creates a long, silky finish. The complexity of this wine is amplified in the mouth by its saltiness.

The 2022 Chardonnay Buri is delicately floral in the glass, blending white flowers with mint and Granny Smith apples. It's soothingly round and pleasantly sweet with mineral-tinge pit fruits and an air of chamomile. This leaves the palate nicely refreshed, tapering off with medium length and a salty flourish.
