Le Petit Mouton de Mouton-Rothschild Description
Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild is the second wine of the prestigous 1st Growth Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. It comes from a selection of the youngest vines of the illustrious Premier Cru and benefits from the same care as its predecessor. The dressing of this wine is reminiscent of that of Château Mouton Rothschild since Baroness Philippine de Rothschild chose a label inspired by a drawing of the famous painter-posterist Jean Carlu.
The wine offers an exuberant and intense, almost solar nose. It reveals a perfect maturity of the fruit that extends on aromas of blackberries, toast, coffee and mocha. It is a tasty wine, silky, of a remarkable softness and delicacy.
