A new project being inaugurated with this vintage, the Fratelli Alessandria 2019 Barolo del Comune di Verduno shows a fine, streamlined mouthfeel with polished tones of river stone, crushed rose and licorice root. The aromas are refined and fragile.

The 2019 Barolo del Comune di Verduno is fabulous. Rich, deep and beautifully layered, the 2019 immediately announces itself. Black cherry, plum, new leather, tobacco and incense build effortlessly. There's plenty of acid and tannin, but also enough fruit intensity to balance things out.
