Domaine Justin Boxler Description
This bottle testifies to the expression of the Grand Cru Wineck-Schlossberg with the sole influence of the Alsatian microclimate. Vineyard on slopes inclined at 45°, overlooking the commune of Katzenthal. Granitic soil exposed south, south-east composed of granite with two micas. This wine comes from two plots: the “Stichlen” planted in 1980. Harvested manually, the juices ferment naturally thanks to indigenous yeasts. Aging on lees takes place for nearly a year in hundred-year-old oak barrels followed by aging in the bottle before release.
