A bright and wonderfully fruit nose is quintessential pinot in character while being trimmed in discreet spice and earth wisps. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy and detail to the middleweight flavors that offer unusually good depth and persistence on the inviting finale. This is almost always an excellent wine for its level and 2021 will be no exception.
Vinous: 85-87 Points
The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge has a pretty bouquet with raspberry and crushed strawberry fruit, a touch of undergrowth, fine definition. The palate is medium-bodied with light, tart red fruit, fine acidity with a short, slight spicy finish. Fine.
