The 2016 Château de Cérons has a fresh cranberry and raspberry bouquet, quite ripe and a little confit in style. The palate is sweet on the entry, offering juicy red fruit laced with black pepper and graphite and gaining more structure toward the sharp finish. This is a little strict at the moment, so give it another year in bottle.
