GENESIS
Each of us at Clinet aspire to offer the best from the terroirs of Pomerol, with passion and know-how. By Clinet, Pomerol was created to artfully blend the three different types of terroir that characterize the appellation. Clinet works with a selection of wine-growers to compose this original wine. The vinification and ageing are carried out by the same team and with as much attention as for the “Grand Vin”. Ageing in second-fill barrels brings out the freshness and finesse of the aromas.
2018 VINTAGE
A vintage with very favorable weather conditions, marked by heavy rainfall at the start of the growing season, and a dry summer. Overall conditions were hot and dry, but the nights were surprisingly cool, shaping the Merlot wines deep and concentrated, while maintaining freshness and fruitiness.

95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc
By Clinet Pomerol 2018 is a brilliant ruby red color. Scents of blueberry tart, cherry, blackcurrant and cornflower mingle on the nose. The tannins lend a silky texture to the wine, which is soft and bursting with fruit on the palate. Warm and pleasant, refined and lingering, this vintage is the perfect companion for meals with family and friends.
