The very young and still fairly reductive 2022 Carrasviñas shows notes of white flowers, aniseed and fennel after some time in the glass. It fermented with neutral yeasts and was kept in stainless steel for at least four months. It's varietal and primary, with good ripeness, 13% alcohol and a low pH (3.15), and it has balance and freshness to make it easy to drink.

The 2022 Verdejo Carrasviñas hails from the DO Rueda. A greenish-yellow wine, the aromas deliver herbal and citrus notes over a minty and nutty layer. Dry, vibrant and rich on the palate, malic acidity contributes to a textured palate. This is a flavorful, reductive, serious Verdejo.
