The November 2018 disgorgement of Barnaut's NV Brut Rosé Grand Cru is built along similar lines to its July 2017 predecessor, but it can't quite match that earlier rendition for complexity, cut or concentration at this stage. Offering up aromas of Griotte cherries, blood orange, raspberries and dried white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and open-knit, with a pinpoint mousse, ripe acids and a nicely defined finish.
