Grown on the very edge of viticultural possibility, this delightful Pinot Noir from Alma Fria comes from the very cool Sonoma Coast region. The mouthfeel is seamless, persistent, and transparent. Tasting this wine quickly becomes a wonderful memory as its light body makes it almost evaporate in the mouth. Red raspberry, black cherry, and tangerine pith flavors merge like tributaries forming a larger river.

What does the West Sonoma Coast taste like? This 2023 Plural Pinot Noir. Comprised of three organically farmed vineyards spread from the north (Annapolis-Sea Ranch) to the south (Freestone-Occidental) of the new WSC AVA, it is equal parts redwood trees, coastal fog, eroded, mountain-top soil and bright fruit. This 2023 vintage is concentrated and buoyant, as it honors Alma Fria’s translucent approach to winegrowing.
