This menage of Bordeaux varietals is 77% Merlot, 20% Malbec, & 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. The aroma of Rose and hibiscus pierce through the intense cedar and blackberry, with that touch of clove one gets in a wine aged from premium French Oak. The voluptuous quality of Merlot is amplified by its cousin Malbec, once a staple in St Emillion and now mostly forgotten, elevating the fruit and giving it a minty cocoa finish.
