The village red 2022 Cobrana shows a little more ripeness than the previous vintage but still keeps its poise, elegance and balance with a juicy palate and round tannins. The grapes were picked September 10, late for the cooler climate zones. Fermented with full clusters in 5,000-liter oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in clay amphorae and barriques for 12 months.

A subtle, perfumed red with aromas of rose petals, white pepper and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with subtle tannins and a transparent, fluid finish. This comes from old vines near the village of Cobrana, where the higheraltitude and the large percent of white varieties in the vineyards result in sublte wines.
