Pinea Description
The 2019 vintage was marked by a mild winter with little rainfall, a rare phenomenon in the region. Fortunately, the generosity of rainfall in the previous vintage allowed the vines to conserve water reserves, which encouraged optimal development throughout the vine cycle.
The process began with a slightly early bud break, followed by uniform and promising flowering. The weather remained dry, contributing to exceptional health in the vineyards.
Veraison, which began in early August, saw uniform berry growth and prolonged and satisfactory ripening. At the end of the month there were some heavy storms, but these rains caused a slight delay in ripening, resulting in a later harvest compared to previous years.
The quality of the grapes received exceeded all expectations, which allowed for a smooth and continuous harvest.
With brilliant ruby tones, this wine reveals its years of aging.
Its intense bouquet combines black fruits with spicy and roasted notes, creating a fascinating complexity.
On the palate, its imposing structure is balanced by refined tannins and vibrant acidity, offering an elegant and long-lasting experience.
