The 2023 Chardonnay Mt Carmel Vineyard just about stopped me in my tracks. It has a killer nose of ripe stone fruits, honeyed citrus, toasted brioche, and mint herbs, and it's medium-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with vibrant acidity, a great mid-palate, and fabulous length on the finish. This is a legit superstar of a Chardonnay in the vintage that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and will drink spectacularly well over the following decade
