The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a dark ruby core and lighter ruby edge. The nose wafts from the glass with dusty red and black-fruited nuances and elements of asparagus, sage, graphite and sweet tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, the wine displays a delightful balance across the mid-palate with succulent tannins that give way to flavors of black cherry skin, redcurrant and cassis. Concluding with a lingering finish, this wine will continue to give pleasure for the next 5 to 7 years. 21,600 bottles were filled after resting for 20 months in a mix of new and used French barrique.
