Bodega Chacra Description
Founded in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta (grandson of the famed creator of Sassicaia), Chacra’s mission is to express the unique microclimates of Rio Negro through organic farming and biodynamic principles.
From the desert region of Patagonia's Río Negro Valley, old, ungrafted vines of Pinot Noir lured Piero Incisa della Rocchetta to this region of Argentina. This fresh, dry, red-fuited rosé comes from 25 year-old vines from the Barda vineyard, and is vinified entirely in stainless steel.
Tasting Note: Fresh and fruit-forward Pinot Noir based rosé marked by flavors of red berries, citrus and white pepper. Voracious acidity and lifted aromatics lead to a lingering and refreshing finish.
