Altos Las Hormigas Description
A blend of 100% Malbec grapes, hand-harvested from various vineyards in Mendoza. The grapes are vinified separately before the final blend. Fermentation takes place in separate stainless steel tanks at 23°C for 10 days. Fermentation is done exclusively with native yeasts. Aged in concrete vats for 6 months. No oak aging.
Tasting Note: La Danza is a delightful, fresh, and flavorful wine. It has an intense, vibrant ruby-red color. On the nose, it is expressive, with fruity notes of cherries, plums, and peaches, along with herbal hints of eucalyptus, menthol, and pepper. On the palate, it is juicy, with smooth tannins and a fluid texture. The finish is long and fruity.
Wine Pairing: It is a very food-friendly wine, ideal for pairing with classic red meats, pasta, or charcuterie boards.
